Dorothee Felber was born in 1965 in canton Lucerne into an entrepreneurial family in the brick industry and grew up in a large family, which was formative in shaping her professional vision and focus.

She acquired the idea of lifelong learning and a broad range of expertise at eight higher educational institutions (Entrepreneurship & Corporate Governance for Board Directors at the University of St. Gallen, EMBA in General Management at the University of Zurich in collaboration with the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the University of Fudan Shanghai, SNP in Human Resources Management at Fachhochschule Olten, Global Human Resources and Leadership and Management at the University of California, and Law at the University of Fribourg).

Through many years of leadership practice in company management, she has acquired valuable experience both nationally and internationally as head of legal, HR management and insurance at group level, head of board secretariats, risk manager, foundation counselor, entrepreneur. She has experience in nine sectors (advocacy, banking, construction, services, trade, property, manufacturing branches of ceramics, medtech and support associations).

Influenced by her lecturers, Professor Norbert Thom in Bern, Professor Martin Hilb in St. Gallen, Professor Bruno Staffelbach in Zurich and Professor Dr. Laurent Carrel in Bern, Dorothee Felber has worked with teams at SME practices, at the University of Zurich and at the Humanistic Management Center St. Gallen to research and develop leadership models based around values, people and innovation.

Dorothee Felber is an active transformation guide who promotes the long-term development of education, families, health, innovation and SMEs. Her commitment helps to create and maintain apprenticeships, professions, innovations and companies. As an entrepreneur with heart, she takes her social and business responsibilities seriously and supports apprentices, students, parents, disabled people and seniors. “Together we can develop more lasting solutions.” In the spirit of the Rütli oath of 1291, Dorothee Felber helps to break down barriers and develop innovative solutions and strategies.
